Notice how the horizontal line at the top of the frame is parallel with the top and bottom edges of the photograph. When I took this shot in a mosque in Morocco, I was standing in a balcony and I could have photographed this man in prayer from any place along the walkway. The shooting position I chose was directly opposite the subject, and this enabled me to maintain that parllel relationship between the graphic line in the design of the wall and the horizontal edges of the frame. Had I been standing slightly off center, the lack of parallelism would have looked like a mistake. It was quite dark in this room, and my settings reflect that: 1/125, f/4, 2000 ISO, hand held.
