I have photographed a lot of the iconic phone booths in the U.K., but I thought this one was particularly well placed from a photography point of view. Well maintained public phones like this are harder and harder to find now because so few people use them now. Almost everyone has a cell phone. I came upon this one in Llangadog, Wales and I had to stop despite the busy traffic. Behind the phone booth someone had placed a large bin on wheels, so I removed that in Photoshop. Not too many years ago we had to settle on reality; not so anymore. Besides, reality is definitely overrated! I used a 24-105mm lens, and my settings were 1/160, f/8, and 1250 ISO.
