I photographed this Samburu woman with a 16mm lens standing about 2 or 3 feet in front of her. That's why she seems disproportionally large compared to the background. The original background was too busy and unattractive, so I replaced it with an African landscape and stormy sky. Remember, the light has to match when you composite. The lighting on the woman came from an overcast sky producing diffused light. This is the ideal for portraits in my opinion. Therefore, the appropriate type of sky for the background would be one that produces soft light. My settings were 1/400, f/10, and 200 ISO.
