I captured this snowy owl in flight during my annual (except this year) workshop in Canada. In the original, the upper left wing tip was too close to the edge of the frame, so I used the new content aware feature that's linked with the crop tool to expand the top of the photograph just a little bit. In post-processing, I also removed a slight bluish cast in the hue/saturation dialog box by choosing 'blue' in the submenu and moving the saturation slider to the left. This is one way to manipulate individual colors. I used my standard bird-in-flight settings to freeze the action and insure I had sufficient depth of field. The settings were 1/3200, f/11, auto ISO (which turned out to be 1250), and manual exposure mode. I used a 100-400mm Canon zoom for the shot, and my frame rate was 14 fps. I dated whether or not to clone out the small stick at the bottom left, and I decided to leave it in. You may disagree.
