In the Dolomites, Italy's northern mountain range, I brought clients to photograph this lovely church with a stunning background. As we were setting up, we noticed a hang glider very far away, and it appeared tiny in the sky. The pilot descended and finally flew back and forth across the church. I couldn't have arranged this better than what happened purely by serendipity. I shot this with a 24-105mm lens, and the settings were 1/2000, f/4, 320 ISO. I find myself using faster shutter speeds than I did in the past simply because I want a guarantee that my pictures of moving subjects will be tack sharp.
