You can't go wrong photographing the sunset in Oia, Santorini. The colors are usually intense, the architecture is classic Mediterranean, and the composition is perfect. There is usually a crowd, but as soon as the sun dips below the horizon they disperse. Then you'll have the afterglow pretty much to yourself to take the best shots. For this image, I enhanced the color a bit and added the crescent moon. It's been a long time since I've led a photography tour to Greece and Macedonia, so I've decided to add this trip to either 2022 or 2023. There is so much to photograph in this part of Europe. I took this shot with a 70-200mm (set to 110mm), and the settings were 1 second, f/2.8, and 100 ISO. I was able to retain complete depth of field because the distance from the buildings to my shooting position was far enough that lens aperture became irrelevant.
