This is a composite of two images I captured in Bagan, Burma. Both were taken with telephoto lenses, and both were shot at sunrise. The way I was able to combine the two originals seamlessly without making a single selection was to use the ‘blend if’ slider bars in the Layer Style dialog box in Photoshop. I explain this in detail in my upcoming NEXT LEVEL online Photoshop training starting Oct. 10. This is truly a remarkable tool. This composite looks like a pretty complex image, but it took me about 20 seconds to create. And most of that time was spent deciding how far to move the sliders. You can open the Layer Style box by double clicking on the layer in the layers palette. Click on the far right side of the highlighted layer. I minimized the noise in this image with Topaz DeNoise AI.
