I took this photograph of two young nuns walking on the U Bain Bridge in Mandalay, Burma shortly before dark. When you photograph at this time of day, well after the sun has gone down, the results will always be very blue. This happened with film and it now happens with digital imagery. If you don’t want the blue color, there are two ways to eliminate it: (1) Use the temperature slider in Adobe Camera Raw or Lightroom, or (2) change the Kelvin temperature within the white balance menu on the camera. I happen to like the blue color at dawn and dusk, and therefore I accept this artistic interpretation. My settings for this shot were 1/200, f/5, and ISO 2000. I shot this from a boat with the new Canon 100-400mm lens.
