I've always wondered if dogs have a sense of humor. I hope they do. I get a tremendous amount of joy watching the funny things they do and enjoying the funny things people do to them. This Pomeranian was in full costume and fit right in with the other costumed models in Venice. He certainly garnered a lot of attention. I got as low as possible to get this shot -- here is where an articulating LCD screen would have been extremely useful. I don't have one yet. It was a bright sunny day, and I purposely took this in the shade for the much more attractive diffused light. My settings were 1/125, f/11, 640 ISO, and I used a 24-105mm lens -- my most-used lens for Carnivale.
