Bishkek is the capital of Kyrgyzstan, and this is a new mosque in the center of the city. The graphic design of the interior is stunning, and the color theme throughout is turquoise -- or in photography jargon, cyan. In the center of the cavernous room is a giant chandelier that is suspended about eight feet above the floor. For this ultra wide shot, I used a Sigma 12-24mm lens. That allowed me to capture most of the floor design as well as the chandelier and much of the ceiling. My settings were 1/50, f/4, and 1600 ISO. Note how much depth of field there is even though the aperture was large. That's typical of ultra wide lenses. The only Photoshop work I did was to clone out a few people.
