I am in Vermont now leading a photo tour to this beautiful part of the country, especially when autumn colors are everywhere. I timed this tour for the second week in October which, in the past, would probably have been late. But with the warming of the planet in mind, I delayed the trip for a week and it turns out that was a good prediction. This is a Victorian home in the small community of Chester. So often, subjects and situations aren't ideal, and since I always strive to produce the most artistic and visually compelling renditions, I enhanced the original capture by saturating the color, adding a dramatic sky, changing the yellow leaves to red/orange, eliminating power lines, and removing an RV from the driveway. The camera settings were 1/250, f/7.1, and 1250 ISO. I used a 24-105mm lens for the shot.

Carlton L McEachern - Jim those RVs can be pesky. Vermont and New Hampshire offer a smorgasbord of photo ops at this time of year. Quebec and northern Ontario where I reside are comparable.
