The wild colors that I captured in Cuba, and the fact that this country is frozen in a time warp of 1959, seem to invite artistic interpretation. So, I've done a lot of composites, experimenting with shapes, color combinations and exaggerated perspectives. It's a lot of fun. I took the background in this picture in Trinidad, Cuba, and the wild orange Chevy from the early 50's was in a lineup of cars in Havana. I used the pen tool in Photoshop to make the precise selection. Notice I even kept the antenna. I photographed the car with a Canon 14mm ultra wide angle lens.
