There are endless numbers of small shops in the old section of New Delhi. This particular shop sold wedding dresses. I loved the window design, but I came up with an interesting idea to tweak it and make it more compelling. What if I replaced the mannequin modeling the dress with a real person? So, I photographed a young woman who worked in one of the hotels I was using. She posed for me in the same position as the mannequin, including the position of the hands. I then meticulously selected her face and hands and replaced the mannequin. The pen tool is the most precise way of making a selection in Photoshop, and that's what I used to make this composite look believable.
