The iconic landscape in Scotland is this formation called Old Man of Storr on the Isle of Skye. I shot this the last time I was there in 2017. It's a semi-strenuous hike to gain this vantage, but it's worth the effort especially when low clouds don't obscure the rocks. This day was hazy, so to give the picture much more visual impact than I was able to capture given the weather, in Adobe Camera Raw I added clarity and contrast. In addition, I increased the color saturation and darkened the sky with the highlight slider as well as the gradient filter (the latter acts like a neutral density filter after-the-fact). Those tools in ACR made all the difference. Lightroom has the same functions, of course. I took this with a 24-105mm lens, and my settings were 1/640, f/10, and 500 ISO.
