This is the Town House, or town meeting place, in Strafford, Vermont. It was built in 1799, and the hilltop location gives it a majestic and commanding presence. This is a hand held 5-frame HDR composite at twilight, and the original cobalt blue sky was attractive but I wanted to add a more dramatic sky. I did that using the Sky Replacement command in Photoshop. I used a 24-105mm lens, and the settings were 1/60, f/4, and 2500 ISO. Noise disappears when creating any composite image that involves stacking because the noise is random. It doesn't duplicate itself in each frame. Each image of the composite has its own unique noise pattern, and when the frames are stacked the noise is eliminated.
