My photo tour group visited a very unique formal garden in Etretat, France. Placed artistically among the sculpted plants are intriguing works of art featuring faces on spheres, and the juxtaposition of the two elements made for some very interesting images. I used a 24mm focal length for this shot for two reasons: 1) I wanted the artwork to be disproportionately large compared to the background, and 2) complete depth of field was essential so we can see and appreciate all of the wonderful detail in the composition. My settings were 1/200, f/22, and 1250 ISO. I handheld the shot.
