I am not a black and white photographer, but a few days ago clients of mine, Mark and Tom Green, who shoot black and white exclusively, sent me a link to their new work. I was so impressed -- it was simply the best of the best with a tremendous variety of subject matter. Inspired by their work, I wondered if I could create high quality black and white images using AI. I could certainly go through my photo library and convert color images to black and white, but I wanted to see if this new AI medium could rival actual black and white photography. So, here is an example of what I did. My prompts were: "The ruins of an 18th century Scottish mansion as seen from a drone, dilapidated, an era gone by, black and white, contrasty, hyper detail, photo realistic --ar 3:2". As I've mentioned in the past, the last bit of code makes the picture a horizontal rectangle. I sharpened the image in Topaz Sharpen AI, and then in Adobe Camera Raw I added clarity and contrast. Then in Photoshop I darkened the clouds a little with the burn tool. My next online course in AI starts November 23. https://www.jimzuckerman.com/online-ai-training
