In my Frog and Reptile workshop, we have a an emperor scorpion native to West Africa. What is particularly unique and fascinating about scorpions, which are usually black, is that under a blacklight they fluoresce a super saturated cyan color. It's quite dramatic. This is another image I made with my iPhone, and then in Photoshop I desaturated the purple and orange hues on the gravel that distracted from the subject. With no color temperature adjustment at all, iPhones produce amazing color balanced images that almost always are perfect. I am in Ethiopia now, and hopefully as my photo tour group stays in various hotels, I'll have Internet so I can upload in a timely manner pictures I take each day.
