Classic Americana

This barn is just a mile from where I live in middle Tennessee. For years, the large barn doors have been closed, but last week they opened to show the old Dodge car. I thought it made a classic shot of rural Americana. I captured this with a 100-400mm Canon telephoto. Given the camera - subject distance and the fact that the facade of the barn is essentially a single plane, depth of field wasn’t a consideration here. My settings were 1/200, f/5.0, and 400 ISO. I waited for a cloud to obscure the sun so I had softly diffused ambient light. With any subject, you can never go wrong with an overcast sky.
