My favorite shooting location in Venice is now this stunning room decorated in ultra ornate baroque decor. Thanks to my good friend Robin Yong who gathered this remarkable group of models for me, my photo tour group participants had the best photo opportunities of the carnival. I arranged the models for a pleasing composition, and as we took pictures, we had shoot kneeling down so we didn't see ourselves in the mirror. The interior was lit from windows on the left as well as light from multiple sconces. I prefer this kind of mixed lighting for palace shoots. Notice how the vertical lines in the architecture are parallel with the left and right side of the frame. This happened because I didn't use an extreme wide angle lens. My lens of choice for this shot was a 24-105mm set to the 35mm focal length. My settings were 1/80, f/5.6, and 3200 ISO.
