Two of the costumed models in yesterday's post, Florine Houee and Irina Siryk, posed for me to create a dynamic shot that included the beautiful ceiling in this palace. To elongate the perspective and, at the same time, to extend the depth of field even when using a relatively large lens aperture, I used an 11-24mm extreme wide angle lens set to the 13mm focal length. The lighting was entirely available light which consisted of daylight streaming in through windows as well as multiple sconces adding artificial light to the large room. I was laying on the floor when I took this. My settings were 1/60, f/7.1, and 5000 ISO. In post-processing, I used Neat Image software to mitigate the noise caused by the high ISO.
