This is a unique view of Our Lady of Brugge Church in Brugge, Belgium. I used a 16mm focal length, and the image consists of a 7-frame HDR composite. As the amount of contrast in a scene increases, the number of frames needed for the composite increases. The discrepancy in exposure between the sky and the shadow areas at the bottom of the composition was extreme, and that's why I used 7 frames with one f/stop increments. The slowest shutter speed in the sequence was 1/30th, which is hand-holdable when a wide angle lens is used. The aperture was f/11, and the ISO was 10,000 because it was quite dark. One advantage of many frames in an HDR composite is that the noise, which is random, disappears.
