Sometimes you'll see a great shot of a place from a distance, and then when you visit the famous location and see it up close the pictures you take never equal the shots that drew you to the location in the first place. The key is to find the location from which the great photograph was taken. My first visit to Pena Palace in Sintra, Portugal was like that. I had seen the castle from a vantage point that I didn't seek out the first time I was there. When I went back, I was determined to find this viewpoint, and I finally did. The closeup pictures I had taken the first time are 'nice', but none of them equal this long shot. I actually had to stand on a boulder to shoot above nearby treetops to prevent them from interfering with the view of the castle.

Daniel Reynaud - Ah the things we do !!! But what a fantastic pic. Also, the feeling emaning from this view is so much stronger. ( and that's why you're being paid the big bucks !! Hihi ! )
PS : A bit busy, but I started to browse through the Flash eBook, and I think it's exactly what I needed. Thank you.
