Friends for life

For my post on the last day of 2019 (it's hard to believe the year is gone already -- the older one gets, the faster the years go by), I've chosen a humorous shot. This is a picture of my two dogs who were exhausted from opening presents on Christmas Day a few years ago. My wife puts treats in boxes with attractive wrapping paper, and the dogs have fun tearing them open to get to their gifts. After the fun, they fell asleep together. I placed the bows on their heads and they didn't even budge. My settings were 1/60, f/5.6, and 640 ISO, and I captured this moment with a 24-105mm lens and natural, ambient light from the family room windows.
