We are in the middle of an ice storm in middle Tennessee, and every branch of every tree in my area is covered in ice. It's really beautiful. This is a crabapple tree in front of my house, and you can see the entire hillside in the distance has also been iced. I took this with a 100mm focal length, and the settings were 1/250, f/7.1, and 1000 ISO. In post-processing, I added a lot of clarity as well as contrast, and this made the highlights really pop which, in turn, made the ice appear more dynamic. The deep overcast was fortunate. The soft light was perfect for this kind of landscape shot.
