I posted this picture 6 years ago, but I wanted to show it again because it represents one of the most challenging Photoshop images I've ever tried. These are Indian one-horned rhinos, a mother and calf, that I captured in Chitwan National Park, Nepal. The problem was that when the mother crossed the track in front of our vehicle, the baby ran across BEHIND the mother. Instinctively, the young rhino was using its mother's bulk as protection from a possible threat. I took a quick succession of images at 14 frames per second, and between the rump of the mother and the vegetation on the left, I was able to see and photograph the entire calf but only in sections. I then assembled four sections together to complete the entire calf, and I placed that in front of the mother. My settings were 1/500, f/7.1, 3200 ISO.
