This morning, after photographing costumed models in San Marco Square at dawn, I brought my workshop participants to an out of the way bridge for this amazing combination of colors and costumes. Thanks to my friend Robin Yong who arranges all the models to be there, and thanks to all the models for their artistry in costume making, everyone was thrilled with the images. I used a 24 - 105mm lens, and my settings were 1/80, f/4, and 125 ISO. I specifically told the group to avoid including the sky because it was so bright that it would detract from the shot. This spot is perfect because it's shaded most of the day and we can take advantage of diffused light.
