This is Milford Sound in the South Island of New Zealand. It rains here on average 182 days per year, and when it's not raining, the sky is mostly overcast. To get a clear sky and sunset colors doesn't happen often, but it does occur. What makes this such a pretty shot is the striking graphic design of the mountains. This is tidal water, and if the tide is out lots of debris can be seen in the foreground -- stones, decaying branches, sand bars, etc. When the tide comes in, the reflection is just like a mirror. I shot this with a 16-35mm lens, and the settings were 1/60, f/11, and 200 ISO.
