This is upper Antelope Canyon near Page, Arizona photographed at night. During one of my American Southwest photo tours, I arranged to visit this spectacular natural formation after dark to take pictures in a very unusual way. The canyon was devoid of crowds; my group had the entire place to ourselves along with our Navajo guide. We used a fairly small LED light and pointed it at the sandy floor. This infused the rocky contours above us with soft and diffused light. The 30 second exposure necessary to obtain a good exposure also exposed the night sky well. I used an aperture of f/10 to make sure I had enough depth of field, although the 14mm focal length pretty much guaranteed that everything would be sharp. My ISO was 3200, and I used daylight white balance.
