Perhaps the most iconic symbol of the 1950's is a pink '59 Cadillac. I finally saw one at a car show here in Nashville last month, but of course the background was terrible. So, I replaced the large parking lot with houses in St. John's, Newfoundland called 'Jellybean Row' because they are painted with such wonderful colors. To embellish the composite, I altered the colors of the houses (Image > adjustments > hue/saturation) to match the car. This particular stretch of Jellybean Row was on a hill, so I angled the Cadillac (Edit > transform > rotate) to match the slope. Note I retained the original asphalt pavement of the parking lot in Nashville to suggest the car was parked on the street. My settings for the car shot were 1/200, f/14, and 500 ISO, and I used a 16-35mm lens for it. To select the Cadillac, I used the pen tool in Photoshop.
