The original color of the car was blue; to change it into lavender I used Image > adjustments > hue/saturation in Photoshop. To precisely select the car, I used the pen tool because this is the most precise way to make a perfect selection. As an afterthought, I added the dog I'd photographed in Havana, Cuba.
