Today is the 79th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, so I created this composite of a vintage aircraft (I think it is a North American SNJ-4) I photographed at an air show in Tennessee with a napalm-like explosion at the same airshow. Notice you can see the wall of fire through the canopy of the plane. That kind of precision compositing was done with the pen tool. I then used the clone tool on various opacities to add fire to the wing, and then Filter > blur > motion blur made that fire appear as if it’s being blown by the wind. My settings for both shots were 1/1250, f/7.1, and 100 ISO.
