I used the shiny surface of a piano to create a reflection of the three costumed models as they posed in front of a baroque background in this Venetian palace. The lighting is a mixture of daylight (coming into the room from the left through several windows) and the artificial illumination from the sconces. The original reflection was quite dark due to a contrast gain typical of all photographic images, so I used the shadows slider in Adobe Camera Raw to bring back the detail I could see at the time of shooting. My settings were 1/80, f/4, and 1250 ISO. I used an 11-24mm lens set to 13mm. Notice how much depth of field I was able to capture even at f/4. This is characteristic of extreme wide angle lenses.
