There are a lot of beautiful cityscapes in the world; I think Shanghai has the most spectacular skyline of all. The graphic design of the buildings and the color combinations of the neon lights make this a breathtaking sight. To give you a sense of scale, the building to the right of center with the cyan-colored top with the rectangular opening is nicknamed the Bottle Opener Building. The bottom of the rectangular opening is an observation deck, and it is 100 stories above the city. I shot this with a 30 second exposure and a 6-f/stop neutral density filter to smooth the water of the river. My white balance was daylight to get the best color. My other settings were f/6.3 and 200 ISO. The photo tours I lead to China begin in Shanghai so my group can photograph this amazing city.
