The Atomium is a structure that is modeled after the atom, and it was built for the 1958 World's Fair in Brussels, Belgium. The exterior is striking, and inside are unique and artfully designed staircases that give access to various levels of the building. For this shot, I used a 15mm fisheye. Notice that there is no apparent distortion typical of fisheye lenses because the cylindrical walls are round; the lens can't make them look 'more round.' My settings were 1/400, f/6.3, and 400 ISO. Fisheyes have tremendous depth of field, so even with a relatively large aperture, f/6.3, everything from the first step to the back of the frame is sharp.
