We took two stallions to the beach this morning here in southern France for early light. If we put two adult stallions together, the fighting would turn bloody and one horse could do serious damage to the other, or worse. So, one of these horses is an adult and the other one a juvenile. Since the younger horse posed no threat to the older one, the sparing took the form of rough playing instead of serious combat. The original sky was a boring blue, so I replaced it with bold clouds and then I desaturated the blue water to match the clouds. My settings were 1/1250, f/11, and 2000 ISO. I used manual mode and auto ISO, and my frame rate was 20 fps so I could capture every nuance of the movement.
