Cuba is a great place to go if you like shooting culture, old cars, architecture, and people. The 1950's era cars seen everywhere make Cuba appear like it is in a time capsule -- frozen in time 65 years ago. The wild colors of the Fords, Chryslers, and Chevys invite all kinds of special effects (at least in my mind), so I made this composite of a dog I photographed on a street in Havana. Once the composite was complete, I then embellished the image with the plugin Topaz Glow. The original shot of the cars was made with a 24mm focal length. Shooting from just three feet in front of the foreground vehicle ensured that the perspective would be exaggerated. My next photo tour to Cuba will be in October, 2019.
