This is a portrait of a Balinese dancer I took during a performance in Bali. I used a long lens to fill the frame with the girl's face and her head piece as well as her expressive hands, and then in post-processing I applied Topaz Impression to turn this into a cross between a photograph and a painting. Within this Photoshop plugin, there are many presets. It's a simple matter of choosing one (or more) that appeal to you, and then from there you can tweak it further in Photoshop. My settings for the original shot were 1/200, f/5.6, 1600 ISO, and I used a 100-400mm zoom.
