When I was in Korea, I asked an attractive young lady working at the reception in my hotel if she would model a traditional Korean fashion for me. She agreed, and she helped me rent the beautiful outfit. I photographed her on the grounds of the Gyeongbokgung Palace reflecting in a small pond. The problem was that the original background was not especially interesting, complementary, or attractive. About 100 feet away was a beautiful Japanese maple tree in autumn color, and I took a separate picture of it. When I got home, I used Photoshop to place the tree behind my model, but of course that made the reflection in the pond incorrect. In addition, in the original picture, floating aquatic vegetation on the pond was out of focus due to shallow depth of field and it was quite distracting. To remedy both issues, I used the plugin, Flood (made by flaming pear.com), to create a perfect reflection.
