The hotel I use for my photo tour group in Fes, Morocco is spectacular. I use it as a background for models, and the architecture is amazing. This is one of the dining rooms. I did a 5-frame vertical pano and assembled the composited images in Photoshop. The distortion of the columns comes from the software's attempt at aligning all the frames together. The near columns at the far left and the far right were actually curved more than you see here in the original panorama, but I used Filter > liquify to minimize the extreme curvature because it was a bit much for me. In post-processing, I opened the shadows and toned down the highlights in the glass ceiling using sliders in Adobe Camera Raw. I shot this with a 16mm focal length, and the settings were 1/80, f/4.5, and 1000 ISO. I hand held the camera.
