This is one of the model composites I did after going through my images from Morocco. I combined the young woman in red with a dining room in our hotel. I thought the red theme was striking, and the complexity of the floor tiles and the detail on the columns are typical of traditional Moroccan interior design. As much as I like to photograph simplicity, the wild mixture of patterns and colors in Moroccan design appeals to me a lot. I used the pen tool to make a precise selection of the model, and both elements were shot with the same lighting -- diffused and overhead. The columns are angling inward because the 16mm focal length I used for the dining room was tilted downward. The ISO for both shots was 1000.
