This is a Victorian home in Dawson, Georgia that looked abandoned (in spite of the fact the porch light is on). I replaced the sky for added drama, and in the Adobe Camera Raw dialog box I added clarity and texture, using those sliders, to embellish the grittiness of the structure. I used a 24-105mm lens, and my settings were 1/200, f/5.0, and 100 ISO. Notice that everything is sharp even though I used a relatively large aperture. This occurred because the 32mm focal length I used is a wide angle, and the elements that make up the shot were across the street. This meant they were far enough from the camera so depth of field was not an issue. A common mistake I see people make is they use a lens aperture unnecessarily small when DOF isn't relevant in a particular situation.
