Chicago is known for its dynamic, innovative, and bold architecture. This building stands out as particularly unique, and it's hard to take your eyes off of it. It is the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, and while there are many frame-filling abstracts that can be take with a telephoto, for this shot I used a 50mm focal length (on a 24-105mm lens) to capture most of the upper structure. I took this picture at sunrise, but the sky wasn't as colorful as I wanted to I replaced it with an image from my 'sky folder'. My settings were 1/100, f/4, and 2500 ISO. All of the fins that protrude from the building are actually balconies.
